Wooden chicken

In the eighth century BCE, the king of China Dynasty was very fond of chicken fighting.
The King Xūan of Zhōu left his chick, asked the best trainer Giseongja to make the best chicken fighting and gave him his chicken. After ten days, the prince asked the trainer "Could you send him for a chicken fight?"
"The chicken is strong, but he knows that he is the best because he is arrogant. It's still far away”, said the trainer.
After ten more days, the king asked, "Can you now send the chickens to the battlefield?
The founder said, "Not yet.”
He is not arrogant anymore but I think it is necessary to develop patience and compassion because he reacts so easily to the sounds and actions of the opponent. "
After ten more days, the king asked, "Is it all right now?
However, the trainer said “He is not impatient anymore but his eyes are very aggressive and when we see chicken eyes we can see his emotional state. It is still hard.”
After 40 days the trainer came to the King. He said to the king, "It seems to be over now. No matter how much the others make a noise, he does not react. He found complete comfort and discretion."
No matter how other chickens are challenging there is no confusion.
Now he is like a chicken made of wood.
Chuang-tzu philosopher by this story says that there 3 conditions to be the best master.
First, we must abandon the pride that we are the best.
Second, we should not react sensitively to the sounds and threats of others.
Third, we should abandon our aggressive attitude towards our opponents.
